Parts Advisor Apprentice - Portsmouth

Salary: £5.28 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30

As the UK Market leader DAF sets industry standards for performance, productivity and after-sales service, as a DAF Parts Apprentice you will be given the chance to join the select group of specialist advisors working with some of the most modern sophisticated trucks on the roads.

You will have the chance to gain a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, whilst employed at a DAF dealership as a full-time employee and will be paid a wage whilst gaining industry-leading qualifications.

We have a new opportunity at our Portsmouth site to join the business as a Parts Advisor Apprentice

What you’ll do:

• Source and allocate parts
• Stock monitoring
• Answer phone calls, emails and walk ins from customers
• Taking orders from customers
• Ensure the correct parts are identified and dispatched to internal and external customers, liaising with colleagues to ensure customer expectations are met and, in most cases, exceeded.

What we need:

• Minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent (A*-C/9-4 in English and maths required)
• Excellent customer service
• Team Player
• Able to motivate yourself when working on own
• Effective communicator
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to plan ahead effectively and prioritise
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly responsive but organised in approach
• Good IT skills
