We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Panel Beater / Fabricator to join our busy workshop in Portsmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and is looking to work in a fast-paced, professional environment with a strong focus on delivering exceptional vehicle repair and fabrication services.

As a Panel Beater / Fabricator, you will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and fabricating vehicle bodywork to a high standard. This role involves working on a range of light and heavy vehicles, ensuring they are returned to service safely and efficiently.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday 8.00 am to 12.00 pm (optional), i.e. 40 hours per week plus Saturday shifts, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).

Salary: OTE £34,000 to £50,000 per annum (dependent on overtime completed).

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out panel repairs, replacements, and realignment.
• Fabricate and modify body components as required.
• Weld, cut, and shape metal using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine repair methods.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater/Fabricator.
• Strong welding and metal fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
